Just across the road from Weymouth’s golden sandy beach and only a short stroll along the esplanade from the town centre, the guest house offers comfortable accommodation and free parking.
Situated right on the esplanade, Letchworth Guest House is just a short, pleasant walk from the heart of Weymouth and all it has to offer, including its restaurants, cinema, theatre, Condor ferry terminal and the picturesque harbour. The Letchworth is also within walking distance of the Sea Life Centre, Lodmoor Country Park and Radipole Lake Bird Sanctuary. Weymouth and Portland are at the heart of the Jurassic Coast and are home to the 2012 Olympics sailing events.
This Georgian, Grade II listed building houses charming, comfortable accommodation. Most rooms are en suite, and some have sea views. All are extremely well furnished and decorated to a high standard.
Free private car parking is available for every guest.

All children are welcome. All children under 5 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding. Maximum capacity of extra beds in a room is 1. There is no capacity for cots in the room.
All rooms are well furnished. All rooms are decorated in a modern manner with en-suite bathrooms, and feature tea and coffee making facilities. Clean towels are supplied daily.
The front double en suite rooms have a view of Weymouth Bay. The rear rooms have an open aspect. Double rooms are not bookable for single occupancy at a single rate.
Breakfast is included in the price. A full breakfast menu is available, including traditional cooked English breakfasts. Vegetarians are also catered for.
From Dorchester:
- Take the A354 to Weymouth.
- Letchworth is situated on the esplanade (seafront) near St John's Church.
By Public Transport
The guesthouse is 10 minutes from Weymouth rail station and close to the national coach drop-off point on the seafront.
